My story
Giancarlo, better known as 'Gio,' graduated from Santa Monica High School without any offers to play college soccer and attended California State University Northridge (NCAA D1) for two years as a full-time student without taking part in athletics.
During his third year of college, Gio decided to transfer to his local community college, Santa Monica College, to begin his campaign as a student-athlete while earning an A.A. degree in Social and Behavioral Science.
After Santa Monica College, Gio was able to earn an athletic scholarship to attend the University of Antelope Valley in Lancaster, California where he spent the following two years competing in the NAIA where he picked up numerous accolades and earned a Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management.
Upon graduating from UAV, Gio still had one year of athletic competition left and was awarded another athletic scholarship to compete at Corban University in Salem, Oregon where he would finish his campaign as a student-athlete and earn a Master's degree in Business Administration.
Today, Gio competes as a professional soccer player and works to continue his professional career while helping collegiate prospects achieve their goals.
